Handbook: Financial Policies

Tuition Due Dates:

Tuition is due and payable in advance. Tuition shall be paid on Monday of each week (if paying weekly) or on the first Monday of the month (if paying monthly). Discoveryland is not responsible for billing. A $25.00 late fee will be applied to all payments not made in a timely manner. Make checks or money orders payable to Milpitas Discoveryland and include the child's name on the lower left side of the check (in the memo section) or money order.

Discounts:

• Advance monthly payment discount of $10.00 for fulltime students only. Payment must be made by the 25th of the prior month.
• A 5% discount is given to the second child in the same family.
• A one week vacation credit may be allowed yearly after the child has attended Discoveryland a minimum of six months. Days taken in excess will be charged the full tuition rate.

Late & Additional Charges:

• $25.00 late charge on all late payments.
• $25.00 charge for returned checks.
• $5.00 for late pick-up after 6:00p.
• $1.00 per minute charge for late pick-up after 6:15p.
• $10.00 for missing signature on sign-in & out sheets.

Parents are responsible to giving written notice two weeks in advance of your child's withdrawal from Discoveryland.
